The Active Learning Network for Accountability and Performance in Humanitarian Action (ALNAP) has been a leading voice for the more rigorous application of learning and evaluation processes across the humanitarian sector. With GAC’s support, ALNAP is focussed on the organization's work to assess and monitor humanitarian performance in Syria, Iraq and the wider Middle East region. It contributes to ALNAP's efforts to identify key problems, build consensus on common approaches and solutions, and share lessons learned thereby improving the quality of humanitarian action and accountability of humanitarian actors in Syria, Iraq and across the humanitarian system.
