This project aims to develop and implement a "train-the trainer" program designed to work with parliamentarians in the Americas. The purpose of the program is to improve the quality and relevance of inter-parliamentary policy dialogue on democratic governance, gender equality, and sustainable development issues in the region. Through the creation of an independent network made up of the national legislatures of the 35 states of the Americas, including Cuba, this project also aims to increase the contribution made by legislatures to the Summit of the Americas process and to addressing issues of importance at the hemispheric level.
