The project aims to improve food security through sustainable farming activities that increase the income of the most vulnerable. The project has three components: food security, improving agricultural performance, and local governance and institutional support. The initiative aims to restart agricultural production and implement food security measures in local, rural, and suburban communities across six departments: Artibonite, Nord, Nord-Est, Ouest, Sud-Est, and Centre. The project is implemented by existing partners (international and local non-governmental organizations, as well as local and central governments).
