This project contributes to the improvement of labour rights in China. Its goal is to reduce trafficking in women and children migrant workers for labour exploitation. It aims to empower vulnerable groups, particularly migrant workers, to protect themselves and to improve systems and services relating to education, migration, and safe employment opportunities. The International Labour Organization (ILO) implements this project in partnership with the All-China Women's Federation and other organizations with a stake in labour trafficking prevention at the national, provincial, and municipal levels in eight provinces. The project supports activities such as training for students, providing employment services for young women, creating support networks for young women and children, and developing codes of conduct for entrepreneurs. Furthermore, the project strengthens provincial action plans against trafficking and develops and implement inter-provincial arrangements for safe migration. Areas of operation: Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Guizhou, Hunan, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Yunnan
