February 2022 - The ongoing crisis in Syria continues to be a driver of displacement and humanitarian needs throughout the country. Over 11 years into the conflict, an estimated 14 million people remain in need of urgent humanitarian assistance. Years of active conflict and displacement have exacerbated protection risks and increased vulnerability for millions and humanitarian access to those most in need remains a significant challenge. With the support of Global Affairs Canada (GAC), this project aims to provide water, sanitation, and hygiene services to approximately 290,320 beneficiaries. Project activities include: (1) installing water towers; (2) providing emergency water trucking services; and (3) repairing water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities.
