World Vision Canada takes an integrated, coordinated approach with the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training and the communities of Croix-de-Bouquet and Tabarre to the recovery and rehabilitation of 100 schools in these two communities. The project aims to combine both internal and external rehabilitation of schools, including water, sanitation and hygiene facilities, such as latrines, school feeding programs, and disaster risk reduction (DRR) programs to improve education, health and safety of children in the targeted areas.
