Published purpose

Removal and replacement of interior flooring is requested due to long standing Occupational Health and Safety Issues; tripping hazard for staff/clients and visitors.. The current flooring is a glue down rolled goods product, which has Asbestos in the glue, which can be expected given the age of the facility. Flooring in the common areas including the washroom, kitchen, reception/security, laundry area and living room is beyond the end of its useful life. Thresholds would also be replaced to improve accessibility throughout the lower level.
