Published purpose

This project will protect the Village of Port Stanley from storm surges from Erie Lake through four assets: by enhancing a dune protection system; by building a new harbour entrance breakwater; by raising the crest of an existing dyke; and by upgrading the storm water management of the community. Once complete, the project will mitigate the impacts of future storm surges related to climate change.
