Published purpose

The Parks Acquisition, Improvement and Trail Development Program, published in 2015, reports, that residents will feel more comfortable and encouraged to use active transportation within our community with enhancements to the active transportation network. Valuable feedback received from community members during the development of the 2014 Official Community Plan, will assist in developing a framework for the District's Active Transportation Plan, highlighting opportunities to build new and expanded networks of pathways, bike lanes, trails, and pedestrian bridges, in addition to supporting active transportation planning and stakeholder engagement activities.
