Published purpose

The project will include completion of a feasibility study to determine the need for improvements to the on-reserve active transportation system. In addition to developing a Feasibility Study, this initiative intends to engage the entire community to gather information about members' challenges/needs/expectations, as well as to promote active transportation strategies to be considered in the TTR Active Transportation Strategy. At this time, a significant percentage of TTR members do not have motorized transportation and there is a desire/need for a delineated network separate from the roads for various active conveyance methods such as biking, walking, running, scootering, and alike. The feasibility study aims to determine the viability of such a system at TTR.
