Published purpose

The project will construct a 200 meter multi-use asphalt pathway, complete with signage and pedestrian facilities at road crossing in Sarnia, Ontario. This project objective is to provide a direct connection between a developed residential area and the main active transportation artery in the Howard Watson Nature Trail, a 16km North-South multi-purpose trail. Making this connection also provides a functional active transportation route to multiple schools immediately to the East of this residential area and a formal connection from the active transportation route to one of the larger parks in the area.
