Published purpose

A rehabilitation project in Vancouver, BC for First Nations, Metis and Inuit women who live in the Downtown Eastside (DTES). The centre will be safe, led and operated by First Nations, Metis and Inuit women, and holistic in its approach to provide spiritual, physical, mental and emotional support. The Centre will consist of the ground level and a new mezzanine level. The ground level will contain the Reception Desk, the Great Hall, Community Kitchen, community utilities including Shower Rooms and Community Laundry, a Multi-purpose space for Art Therapy, as well as social spaces for community and cultural connection.
