"The proposed project will lead to the development of two school travel plans (STPs) for elementary schools of the Coeur-des-Vallées School Service Centre: École Saint-Michel (Montebello) and École Adrien-Guillaume (Chénéville), both in the Outaouais region. Through the development of STPs, the proposed planning project will ensure safe active transportation and encourage a modal shift toward active mobility. The STPs will have three secondary objectives: - Identify measures needed to make walking and biking to school safer - Suggest ways to maintain and encourage the use of active transportation by students - Initiate a concerted effort to encourage the deployment of facilities and measures that enhance the safety of students commuting to school"
