Published purpose

In 2017 the Rural Municipality of La Broquerie adopted a Trails Secondary Plan. This plan laid the foundation for an active transportation trail network that has been expanding for the last five years. For this project, The Municipality is proposing approximately 10 Kilometers of trails. The main objective is to provide separate trail corridors to ensure safe access for the public to travel. The second objective is to provide connectivity between various communities. The third objective is to hardtop the trails with pavement to provide people with mobility issues the ability to access the trail system. This project will spread out over a four-year period. The Municipality will contribute $100,000.00 per year over the four-year period.
