Published purpose

This project will encourage active transportation by implementing a series of measures that will make it safer and more pleasant on roads near schools and seniors residences in Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough. The main measures planned are the construction of curb bulges, the installation of speed bumps, the installation of safe pedestrian crossings, the installation of radar speed signs (for traffic calming) and the addition of bike and scooter racks near schools. As part of this three-year project (2023-2025), measures will be deployed in every district in the borough. Improvements will be made around 16 schools and 11 seniors residences.
