Published purpose

The project will provide flooding protection for the Lower Simcoe Street Underpass in downtown Toronto. The objective of the project is address flooding issues at the Lower Simcoe Street Underpass to improve public health and safety while managing combined sewer overflows and improving the stormwater infrastructure in the area to build resilience to extreme weather events in the future.
