"The Municipality of Saint-Nazaire d’Acton wants to repair the village’s sidewalks. The sidewalks are in very poor condition, and some of them need to be replaced. The work will involve removing the existing sidewalks, doing work on the subgrade, and replacing all of the concrete. In addition, green spaces will be created along the sidewalks to reduce heat islands and GHGs. The total length of the sidewalks to be repaired is 500 m. These sidewalks through the village provide connections to the various amenities available in the municipality. The Municipality wants to encourage residents to walk around the village instead of using their cars. In addition – and this is crucial – while citizens need to reduce pollution by walking, they have to do so safely."
