The solutions proposed will substantially reduce flooding risk in the Rockcliffe-Smythe area. Jane St Bridge is one of a package of measures and is not amongst the listing of projects submitted for funding approval as this project was already approved for DMAF funding in the 2020 DMAF intake. Based on Hydraulic modelling completed, the Jane St project alone will not be effective in mitigating flood risk.
