Published purpose

The project, located at 4250 Curling Street, Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick, involves replacing the existing mechanical systems with one that will improve energy efficiency while meeting high environmental and energy standards. The Curling Club's facilities are available to the entire Acadian Peninsula community, which has a population of nearly 50,000 and an area of some 2,000 square kilometers. It's the only facility of its kind in the entire region. The Club's sports facilities are also available to all local school, college and university students, as well as to retirees and seniors.
