Published purpose

The Community Living & Wellness Centre will be a state-of-the-art facility designed to serve the needs of the community. It will feature a full-size ice surface, six dressing rooms, spectator seating, a pro-shop, offices, a mezzanine level running/walking track, a fitness space, a dividable multi-purpose room, a canteen, a community lobby, and related support areas. The facility will be approximately 60,000 square feet in size and will utilize a combination of pre-engineered and conventional steel frame construction. The building will be constructed to a “Net Zero” ready standard in compliance with the requirements of the Infrastructure Canada – Green and Inclusive Community Buildings Program.
