Published purpose

This Project will construct a multi-use pathway included in a corridor road improvement project. This Project includes an estimated 1.5km of multi-use pathway and sidewalk, as well as accessibility features, lights, crosswalks, pavement markings, and landscaping. The multi-use pathway will be constructed along Prairie Avenue, from west of Shaughnessy Street to Coast Meridian Road. It will improve connectivity, accessibility, and safety along the route, connecting the PoCo Trail to key destination points in the city like schools, parks, community centres, and commercial areas. It will also provide economic and environmental benefits to the community.
