The National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAP) Accelerator Partnership is a country-led initiative to support the development and implementation of ambitious NBSAP. Also, it aims to collectively achieve the goals and targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and, ultimately, the global vision of living in harmony with nature by 2050. Canada’s support to the Partnership aims to enhance institutional capabilities for implementing gender-responsive NBSAPs in 7 primary focus countries, strengthening partnerships between ministries, women's rights organizations, research institutions and other key stakeholders, and contributing to knowledge generation on the linkages between gender equality and biodiversity conservation.
