Objet publié
This initiative will aim to enhance the capacities of finance-mandated and other relevant criminal justice agencies in targeted countries in South Asia and foster regional cooperation and coordination with the objective of preventing and countering drug trafficking revenues. This will be achieved through a mapping of illicit financial flows (IFFs) originating from drug trafficking in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, followed by the delivery of technical assistance informed by the research. In turn, this technical assistance will support beneficiary governments to counter terrorism and other illicit financing and reduce activities reliant on these funds.
