This project aims to strengthen the Lebanese Armed Forces’ (LAF) capacity to counter explosive threats and protect national security. By providing equipment and training to LAF explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technicians, the project aims to reduce the risk of terrorism and enhance public safety. The X-ray kits enables Lebanese EOD technicians to scan improvised explosive devices (IEDs) for booby traps and other detonation mechanisms, while simultaneously preserving critical evidence needed to identify and disrupt terrorist networks.
