This project aims to release previously contaminated land, cleared of explosive ordnance, to communities in Anbar and enhance the participation of iraqi women in mine action operations, including decision-making processes. Project activities include: (1) implementing community outreach programs to facilitate greater participation of iraqi women in mine action operations, including their involvement in decision-making processes; (2) conducting non-technical surveys of communities affected by explosive ordnance; and (3) conducting comprehensive land release operations to support stabilization, reconstruction, and development projects.
