The project aims to strengthen Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Bangladesh (IMPB)’s capacities in Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Countering Financing of Terrorism (CFT). Project activities include: (1) enhancing legislative reviews and drafting assistance; (2) training on effective incorporation and enforcement of the United Nations counter terrorist financing and targeted sanctions regime and instruments; (3) developing and delivering tailored national training curricula and resources. The project’s technical assistance will also contribute to IMPB’s efforts to implement other international standards including the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and assist IMPB in preparing for the FATF’s assessment.
