This grant represents Canada’s long-term institutional support to the African Development Fund (ADF). The ADF uses these funds and other donors’ funding to achieve its mandate. The ADF is the grant and low-interest arm of the African Development Bank (AfDB) that provides financial support to Africa's low-income countries. This 15th replenishment (ADF-15) seeks to support inclusive growth and resilience in these countries. It includes tackling the root causes of fragility and vulnerability in the process.
