This project contributes to the joint-donor appeal for Pakistan’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) response. It supports the Government of Pakistan’s Preparedness and Response Plan to stop the transmission of COVID-19 and respond to the emerging public health needs in the country. Project activities include: (1) strengthening case detection surveillance, rapid response teams and case investigations; (2) improving laboratory networks; (3) strengthening case management by implementing infection prevention and control; and (4) addressing socio-economic vulnerabilities in a post-COVID-19 response.
