The Scholarship Fund for Palestinian Women assists women from Palestinian refugee communities in Lebanon pursue undergraduate university degrees and develop their professional and management skills in such fields as business, engineering, biology and science. After completing their studies in Lebanon, it is expected that these women become income-earners and play an increased leadership role in the Palestinian community. It is expected that they can then contribute to the development of the community's capacity to manage and sustain itself. More than 200 students have been awarded scholarships since 2000.
