The purpose of this project is to improve legal and institutional mechanisms for the promotion and protection of the rights of children, ethnic minorities and migrant workers in Southeast Asia. The project develops capacity of selected non-governmental and governmental institutions in the implementation of the Rule of Law and in influencing policy makers on related issues. Expected outcomes include more effective and sustainable regional networks in addressing human rights issues; improved legislative and policy environment for legal/judicial services; and greater access to services and protection by law for the target group.
