With this project, DFATD supports the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Colombia and contribute to: a) enhance the understanding of the Government of Colombia and stakeholders of the human rights situation and the challenges in addressing it; b) enhance the protection of Colombia’s citizens from human rights violations and improve the response to such violations by the Government of Colombia and oversight institutions, and; c) increase the use of human rights protection and prosecution mechanisms by victims, civil society organizations and the public.
