Objet publié

This project aims to place women at the forefront of healthcare systems and ensuring gender equity and responsiveness in maternal and child health and nutrition interventions in Cambodia, Kenya and Senegal. It seeks to understand gender-driven barriers to seeking and accessing 5 lifesaving nutrition/health services to inform co-designed solutions. To achieve this, the project seeks to adopt a holistic participatory approach that engages community members as research partners. This approach aims to gain a deeper understanding of gender-related barriers to accessing health services and how they may be overcome or navigate to contribute to improved nutrition outcomes for mothers and children under five. Project activities include: (1) Conducting formative research to identify gender-related barriers to seeking and accessing five lifesaving services; (2) Developing solutions informed by research; and (3) Disseminating research to decision-makers to inform more women-friendly service delivery.
