With CIDA support, CARE Canada is addressing the emergency water, sanitation and hygiene needs of 45,000 refugees and host communities in Rubkona County, Unity State, South Sudan. Project activities focus on: establishing three new primary health centres and providing one health centre in a transit station; constructing 10 new water points and rehabilitating 20 existing water points; providing 25 sets of tools to the community for rehabilitation of water points; and training to 25 people on water pump maintenance.
